Our Back Yard
Renown for its’ natural beauty, the
Brecon Beacons National Park offers some of Wales’ most spectacular
scenery: wild hillsides, bubbling streams and wide open lakes and
reservoirs conspire to make this area a paradise for walkers, mountain
bikers and all lovers of the outdoors.
Nearby Brecon and Abergevenny are
bustling towns, steeped in tradition and a way of life that has remained
relatively unchanged for centuries. Tuesday and Friday are market days,
a great opportunity to shop for fresh local produce and meet the
characters that give the area its’ unique personality. There are a wide
variety of events throughout the year among which the
Brecon Jazz Festival (August), Royal Welsh Show (July) and the
Hay on Wye Literature Festival (May)
attract visitors from around the world.
